Electronic Disclosures & Consent

By using the Lending Buddies website and submitting a request for financing options, you agree to receive certain communications, notices, and legal disclosures from Lending Buddies LLC and its network of participating independent lenders in electronic form rather than on paper. This Electronic Consent ("E-Consent") explains the terms under which we and our network lenders may communicate with you electronically.

1. Scope of Electronic Communications

The types of communications you may receive electronically include, but are not limited to:

  • Financing offers and pre-qualification results from participating lenders;
  • Privacy policies, terms of service, and rate disclosures;
  • Loan agreements, promissory notes, and related contractual documents;
  • Account statements, payment reminders, and billing notices;
  • Marketing communications regarding products and services that may interest you;
  • Notices required by federal or state law, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA).

2. How We Contact You

Electronic communications may be delivered to you via:

  • Email to the address you provide in your request;
  • SMS text message to the mobile number you provide (standard messaging rates may apply);
  • Automated telephone calls, including pre-recorded messages, to the phone number(s) you provide;
  • Push notifications through our website or mobile applications, if applicable;
  • In-page notices and banners displayed on our Site.

3. Hardware and Software Requirements

To access and retain electronic communications, you will need:

  • A device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) with an active internet connection;
  • A valid email address capable of receiving messages with attachments;
  • A web browser that supports modern TLS encryption (e.g., current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge);
  • Sufficient storage to save electronic documents, or the ability to print them.

4. Your Consent

By submitting a request through Lending Buddies, you affirm that:

  • You have read and understood this E-Consent;
  • You consent to receive the communications described above in electronic form;
  • You have the necessary hardware, software, and internet access to receive and retain electronic communications;
  • You understand that you may withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 6 below).

Your electronic consent has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and satisfies any requirement that an agreement be in writing or signed.

5. Updating Your Contact Information

You are responsible for keeping your email address and phone number current. If your contact information changes, you must notify us promptly so we can continue to deliver communications to you. To update your information, email support@ilendingbuddies.com.

6. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw your E-Consent at any time by contacting us at support@ilendingbuddies.com or by calling 1-800-555-0199. Upon receiving your withdrawal request, we will stop sending electronic communications within a reasonable time. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability and the ability of participating lenders to process your request or provide you with financing offers.

7. Paper Copies

You may request a paper copy of any electronic communication at no charge by contacting us at the email or phone number listed below. We will mail the requested document to the postal address you provide within a reasonable time frame.

8. Termination of Electronic Communications

We reserve the right to terminate electronic communications if we are unable to successfully deliver messages to the email address or phone number you provided, or if we suspect fraud, unauthorized use, or a security risk. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you and may require alternative means of communication.
