Welcome to Lending Buddies. By accessing or using our website at Lending Buddies (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of Our Service

Lending Buddies LLC ("Lending Buddies," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent, free lead-generation and loan-matching service. We are not a direct lender, mortgage broker, or credit provider. We do not make loan or credit decisions, do not issue credit, and do not hold or service any loan. Our role is to connect consumers who request financing options with participating independent lenders and financial service providers in our network.

Each lender in our network independently evaluates your request and makes its own underwriting and credit decisions. We do not guarantee that you will receive any financing offer, and we do not guarantee the specific terms — including APR, loan amount, or repayment period — that any lender may offer you.

2. No Fee to Consumers

Our matching service is 100% free for consumers. We do not charge you any fee to submit a request, and you are under no obligation to accept any financing offer presented to you. Lending Buddies is compensated by participating lenders for the referral of prospective customers; this compensation may affect how and where offers appear. You are responsible for any fees, interest, or costs associated with a loan you accept from a lender — but you will never be charged by Lending Buddies itself.

3. Eligibility

To use our service, you must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of the United States, and legally able to enter into binding contracts. You represent and warrant that all information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current. Providing false or misleading information may result in the termination of your access to the Site and may violate federal and state law.

4. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit any other user from using the Site. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
  • Attempting to intercept, decrypt, or otherwise compromise the security of our systems;
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data without our written permission;
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
  • Impersonating another person or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall look and feel — is the property of Lending Buddies LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download a single copy of the Site's content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

"Lending Buddies" and all related marks are trademarks of Lending Buddies LLC. All other trademarks appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

6. Third-Party Lenders and Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party lender websites and services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party lender. Your interactions with any lender are solely between you and that lender. We encourage you to review the terms, privacy policy, and disclosures of any third party before submitting information or accepting an offer.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and our matching service are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any financing offer will be available to you. You assume all risk associated with your use of the Site and any offer you accept from a lender.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lending Buddies LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Site or our matching service;
  • Any financing offer, loan, or credit product obtained through a lender in our network;
  • Any action or inaction by a third-party lender;
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

Because we do not lend money or make credit decisions, we are not a party to any loan agreement between you and a lender, and we bear no responsibility for the terms, performance, or servicing of any loan.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lending Buddies LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

10. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and Lending Buddies each waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. The arbitration shall take place in Wilmington, Delaware. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this provision.

You may, however, bring claims in small claims court in your state of residence if they qualify. The statute of limitations and any claim filing deadlines applicable to claims filed in court apply equally to claims filed in arbitration.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Except for claims properly brought in small claims court, all disputes are subject to the arbitration provision above.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court or arbitrator, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
